SCMPCR E-Learning Program (ELP-10): Soft Skills for Medical Physicists & Scientists in Cancer Research

Program Overview

The South Asia Centre for Medical Physics and Cancer Research (SCMPCR) successfully conducted its E-Learning Program (ELP-10): “Soft Skills for Medical Physicists and Scientists in Cancer Research” from 1 November to 21 November 2025. The program was organized as part of SCMPCR’s ongoing commitment to quality education and capacity building in medical physics and cancer research, with the aim of enhancing both technical knowledge and professional competencies among medical physicists and early-career scientists.

This international program will feature renowned trainers who will share their expertise on the following topics:
1. Clinical Implementation of a PSQA-Software from LAP
2. Early Clinical Application Report of a New SGRT-System from LAP
3. 3D Printing in Radiotherapy
4. Artificial Intelligence in Radiation Medicine
5. Digital Medical Image Processing Techniques
6. Monte Carlo Simulations for Dose Calculation
7. Practical Leadership Skills for Junior Physicists and Early-Career Scientists
8. From Submission to Publication: What Physica Medica Looks for in a Strong Manuscript
9. Score Function or Optimization Function in Radiotherapy
