SCMPCR Hands-On-Workshop (HW 07): Quality Assurance in High Precision Radiotherapy

Workshop Overview

We have organized a Hands-on-Training (HW 07) of the South Asia Centre for Medical Physics and Cancer Research (SCMPCR, A project of Alo Bhubon Trust (Alo-BT)) in Collaboration with Saroj Gupta Cancer Centre and Research Institute (SGCCRI) on 1st February to 4th February, 2024.

The workshop objective was to provide a comprehensive platform for knowledge exchange and hands-on training in the latest advancements in quality assurance practices in the field of high precision radiotherapy.

Esteemed foreign faculties and expert trainers hailing from India, Belgium, Germany, and the United States have leaded the workshop. The workshop encompass various subjects, such as Artificial Intelligence in Radiotherapy Quality Assurance, Intrafraction Motion Monitoring in SBRT and SRS Treatment,  Patient-Specific Quality Assurance from Phantom to Real-Time Dosimetry, Utilization of Octavius 4D 1600 SRS array for SRS/SBRT Patient-Specific QA, Commissioning and Evaluation of EPID In Vivo employing RadCalc, Innovative Approaches to Pre-Treatment and In Vivo Dosimetry with EPID, and Comprehensive End-to-End Verification in SRS/SBRT utilizing the Ruby Phantom.
